Just what will the next money games we play be next? More importantly how will we play these money games?
As we can see in the last decade the video games bussiness has increased constantly and have growen even bigger. Many people usually find in video games a great form of money games entertainment. Since the number of people from poor countries that can buy a computer has become even bigger and bigger every day we might see a boost in the money games industry.
In the last years many online games have appeared like World of Warcraft, Project Entropia, Lineage II and others. Some gamers can adn will make a living from these games. Recently in games Project Entropia have been sold some virtual property deeds for the huge amount of 99,000 USD. The buyer competed last year with another player for buying an island in the same game. The owner of the island paid 26,000 USD and few months ago he claimed that he got the investment money back from the taxes he claimed on his virtual land. Also we can see many sites that sell virtual money for a lot of online games. These online games will be the future of entertainment because you can meet real people like in a community site and have fun playing the game.
Playing for real money can also be seen in other video games like World of Warcraft and Lineage II where people train their characters for a few months and then they sell them on eBay for a good sum of money. Is this a good thing?! Only time will tell but as far as I'm concerned it's a great thing to combine fun with making some easy pocket money. You can earn lots of money only if you try harder and work (play) many hours a day. The Project Entropia concept is great because instead of paying for the game you could be paid to play. The game economy is based on the players that don't play for money but for fun which also invest their money in the game for better armors or weapons.
In the near future I expect we will see more games of this kind on the market because they are really becoming quite popular.

Nintendo DS Review - What's it been like for the portable system? by Andre Garcia
When Nintendo first introduced the Nintendo DS to the public, it was unlike anything the industry had ever seen. In terms of portables, game developers and consumers alike were used to using a portable with one screen, and your typical button layout - usually consisting of an a and b button, topped with your traditional d-pad, and a few other standard buttons. The DS was different though. When it was first shown to the industry, the most striking or unusual feature that stood out was it's dual-screen layout.
Naturally, there was a lot of criticism that followed this announcement - people weren't sure what to think of this new system with two screens. Of course, that wasn't the only unusual feature - the bottom screen was also a touch screen. There was a built-in microphone and the addition of the stylus. Right now, none of these things seem like a big deal. Back then though, the introduction of the Nintendo DS caused shock waves within the industry. Opinions across the industry varied, but unfortunately, most of those opinions didn't seem to be in the portables favor.
It didn't matter what those opinions were though, because the true test would come in the form of November of 2004 - the official release of the Nintendo DS. How would it fare? Would people like the system, or hate the system? Would they even care? At the time, Nintendo's Game Boy was still doing really well, so that begged the question: Was there even a need to release this new portable system? Those questions would be answered come the official release date of the portable console. Surprisingly to many, the answer was a resounding yes! Finding the system at your local video game retailer was hard enough, let alone trying to purchase one for yourself.
People were "devouring" the system in droves. It was an amazing sight to see, considering that the DS was an unconventional system, in almost every sense of the word - yet, it was selling like crazy. Naturally, that begged another question: Is this just a novelty that will soon wear off? Or is the DS for real? Will it carry itself through the next year or two and beyond? Fast-forward to December of 2007, and that question, once again, is clearly answered. Even today, after being on the market for just over three years, it is still one of the hottest video game sellers around. So as you can see, the DS thus far has been doing extremely well.
In terms of software, there are so many different types of games available, that almost anyone of any age can find something that they might be interested in. Were talking about people that range from your typical "hardcore gamer", all the way to people that have never played games before. Soon, you will be able to connect the DS with it's "brother", the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo has stated that you will be able to download demos from your Wii straight to your DS. In many ways, as the DS gets older, it also seems to get better. I'd venture to say that we haven't seen the last of the DS, and if your at all interested in video games, I'd suggest giving the DS a try - You just may end up enjoying it.

There are six major video game consoles available at retailers right now; Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, and Nintendo DS. It can be hard to choose which one is right for you. And after you add in the old consoles too, it makes the choice even more overwhelming. Don't worry too much though. Just ask yourself a few simple questions outlined below and you can easily decide which system is right for you. The points to consider are price, graphics, game selection, and other capabilities.
Price - Probably the single biggest factor for someone choosing a video game console is the price they have to pay to purchase the system itself. Prices range from $599 for the Playstation 3 down to $129 for the Nintendo DS. And if you really want to save money you can buy past generation consoles like Playstation, Nintendo 64, and Super Nintendo and spend no more than $20 for a used system. The prices for games should also be factored in when making your choice. PS3 and Xbox 360 games are usually $59.99 new, while Nintendo DS games sell for $29.99 new. Games for old systems are hard to find at regular retailers, but they are usually quite a bit cheaper if you buy them online.
Graphics - The graphics are always improving with the newer video game consoles, so the newer systems will always have the best graphics. The Xbox 360 and PS3 have the best graphics and can display in High Definition if you have a TV that can display it too. The Wii does not have the same graphical capabilities as the other two, though many casual gamers will not be disappointed. The PSP and DS have less graphical capabilities than the home consoles because they are portable. And the PSP can display graphics quite a bit better than the DS.
If you are considering older systems, each generation is roughly at the same level graphically no matter which system you choose. Playstation and Nintendo 64 are about the same, as are Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. But the Nintendo 64 will have better graphics than Super Nintendo, which in turn is better than the original Nintendo.
Game Selection - The main reason you buy a system is for the games, so you have to be sure the games you want to play are on the system you choose. Some systems have very wide selections of games because they were so popular, like Playstation 2, Playstation, and Super Nintendo. With these systems you can almost always find a game in the genres you like. If you really like a particular series of games (Mario, Halo, Final Fantasy, etc) you need to be sure to pick the system that those games come out on. Mario games are only available on Nintendo consoles, including Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, and Super Nintendo. Halo is only on Microsoft's systems, Xbox and Xbox 360. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy has changed systems. You will find old Final Fantasy games on Super Nintendo and Playstation, and the newer games only on Playstation 2.

For example, Wii has motion-sensing controllers so all the games use movement to control the characters instead of a regular joystick.
